Shattered Pieces of My Heart (Unfinished)

The shattered pieces of my heart lay scattered endlessly along the broken road that i ever long to stray from. He loves me but I can't give him my heart that lies bleeding in someone else's hands. The flames seek me, the stars seek him, he seeks laughter, I seek him but I can never give him laughter if he won't seek me. Leaving me alone in the burning fires without his smile for comfort. I want to betray salvation he wants to find it, I want to destroy the world, he wants to save it.

~The only men I've ever met are the ones who want to own the world...but hes the first I've found who wants to save it...~
