Lifeless

by Sherry Lynn   Oct 22, 2005

Lifeless

Tears flow
From her brown eyes
Streaking cheeks
Upon an olive face

Smiles never seen
Sparkling eyes have disappeared
Laughter is now in the past
Agony has staked its claim

Lifeless body
She has become
Losing her soul
Before death could come

A nightmare for some
So it seems
Sad to say
Hell is now her reality
