Death wish

by LKA   Oct 22, 2005

She must be on a death wish,
To do the things she does,
Cutting herself with broken glass,
Swallowing unknown pills.

The wounds,
They hurt so badly,
Infected and bleeding,
Although refusing help.

She is such a pretty girl,
But her secrets are so ugly,
Her scars so unpretty,
The blade is her addiction,

Killing her slowly,
Why cant she realize?
Because she thinks its helping?

Its an unhealthy addiction,
Thats what they tell her,
The problems aaren'tvisible,
People think its nothing,
They cant see the pain shes hiding.

Thoughts of suicide fill her mind at night,
She knows shes not ok,
But just maybe if she pretends,
People will forget about her?

Behind closed doors,
She is really uncovered,
The scars unfold,
Its a frightening sight,

I am worthless,
I dont mean anything,
Just another toy on the shelf,

Just because you cant see my problems,
Doesnt mean that they don't exist,
They are very real.
