I meet this super guy one day
at the local staking rink
though he was not so cute or bright
a crush was on the brink

We flirted for a very long time
Then went our separate ways
How little did we know
we would not sleep for days

He started dating my best friend
I thought my chance was gone
They were to me the perfect match
But it was all so wrong

One day as i walked to my class
I heard some happy news
Finally they had called it quits
A chance i wouldn't lose

I told him how I truly felt
I thought that he would laugh
Instead he said "I feel the same"
I found my missing half
