Dark Knight

Watching you from a distance
My feelings for you are never changing
Ive told you the truth, you know my secret
And yet here I stand-alone

I watch you stalk the halls waiting to fade
Mysterious air hangs around your black robes
I ponder what lies behind all that darkness
Is it all just a defensive ruse?

Do you hide your sadness from prying eyes?
Are your songs your secret cries for help?
I wish I could hear you now on this lonely night
You are my dark loving Knight

I await the day when your lips are mine
I know you are way to shy, but my love for you
I can no longer deny.

I wish that you'd share your mystifying secrets
I aspire to know what dwells beneath your dark entire

I sincerely want to grasp what those melodic words
Genuinely mean

I desire to understand the in-depth things
That made you so sweet and affectionate

Or what made you heaven in my own eyes
You are my dark melodic Knight!
