One Way Road

by Esther   Oct 23, 2005

A choice of life,
A road of death.
One filled with strife,
Scared to hold one's breath.

The path darkens,
The road grows narrow.
Spirits sink, The road goes on
Light begins to show, a song of a sparrow.

The road unknown
lays straight ahead,
the seeds of life sewn
By a stranger your led.

The end draws near,
your carrying a heavy load.
No longer fear
The one way road
