To Touch A Heart

by None   Oct 23, 2005

It takes a lot
To touch a heart.
So few people can do it,
It's like hitting a bull's eye with a dart.

You have to be nice
With patience to spare.
You can punch all you want,
But we all know that you care.

You must have a heart
Filled with joy and make of gold.
You can grow up as much as you want,
But to us you'll never be old.

You must look at life,
With an open mind.
You can yell at whomever,
But when it counts, you are kind.

You must never tell lies,
And say only what's true.
People can try all they want,
But never will touch a heart quite like you do.
