Solitary refinement

by Gary Jurechka   Oct 24, 2005

When the waves are placid
and lucid eyes burn bright,
the dark chaos has passed
into blue skies serene,
in fresh shafts of light
all is left purged and clean,
from insane screams into tranquil dreams,
to save yourself from your self,
yourself need only intervene.
