Perfect Girl

by Danielle Weaver   Oct 24, 2005

She counts the calories in her school packed lunch
And she blasts Indian music in the school parking lot
She cries every time she sees Black Beauty
And the Fox and the Hound when the mom gets shot
But she's always strong
When I'm in danger
Of falling back wards again

She's a perfect Girl
I don't know how else to describe it
And she means the world to me
A perfect Friend
But she'll never stop to admit it
She knows she means the world to me

So she wont speak up when she knows she knows the right answer
and she cares too much what they all think
About the way she looks
But when it comes to listening to different types of music
Or acting up on stage
She'll never fit in
She's too good to fit in

She's a perfect Girl
I don't know how else to describe it
And she means the world to me
A perfect Friend
But she'll never stop to admit it
She knows she means the world to me

She calls for me
And she cries for me
She's always right there for me
And if it's not clear to see
She's the girl I would want to be
If...I... ever grow up

I could be...
A perfect girl
If I follow all of her examples
And have her light to guide me
I'll be her Perfect Friend
Because she means the world to me
