The Silver Cross (Stainless Steel)

by Aesthyrian   Oct 24, 2005

I'm down, on my knee's before thee
Clutching this heart, this asphyxiation of...
Befoure we start, Will you stop the misery?
I need to know why we dance to a tune unheard

Fear held within us so tightly confined
Distortion of time bled through the covers
The muffled screams of the broken hearted
The euphoric screams of the two lovers...

Trampled by the herd that once heard
Yet now, blind to all, they all gather
Round that which devours them
Turn this away I would rather
Be bled on the cross
You say sin's are that
which behold the eyes of satan
But to see truth... How could it be
You claim a sin is that of wrong
Is happiness a newfound revelation?

Stamped to damnation for My beliefs
Burned for what I want, What I love
Dieing lyke the autumn leaves...

This world froze over when your god was born
Now the true, the living, the loved must mourn
You overtook this world of ours, Goddess be scorn
It is Him or nothing else, He must be loved
He must be followed, he must be adorned!

The wings of seraph's calm thy mind young bloods
My brothers, and systers
I shield You all, for I am damned
My mothers, and fathers
A tide that will not be stopped before the flood
My loves and youngs
I pray thee not be cursed by the beast... Man...
