I climb into bed,
Its a cold dark night,
You wrap your arms around me,
And hold me tight,
You whisper I love you in my ear,
You knew thats exactly what I wanted to hear,
You gently kiss my forehead,
We lay there just talking and laughing in my bed,
I smile but then a loud noise I did hear,
It was just as I feared,
I open my eyes to an empty bed,
Thinking of the things that were never said,
Im all alone,
Your arms were never around me,
Now I see,
It was all just a crazy dream,
My one last attempt
To resurrect the love we once felt,
All these feelings I could have never of dealt,
So I cry myself to sleep,
Yet again dreaming of the love we couldnt keep...
