Angel Sanctuary

No knowing who to trust
surprises awaits my fate
not knowing where to go
For I'm already late

My wings have flew afar
through midnights wonders
till flying was no more
my thoughts still ponders

Who is this angel above
who cries her tears
who still remains in sorrow
living on here

Why hasn't she flown
to her home atop
Many things she's done
her final wings stop

Joy of the wind upon hair
is now no more
Silence takes her in
and shuts the door

No longer a child of hope
now only a shadow
a heart once tender and kind
now in constant battles

Where is my sanctuary
that protects this broken soul
Dreaming of flying
now all so Dismal

Wings have been shattered
and dreams have been torn
love is now barren
mind encased and forlorn

Rejected, demised and hated
thorns erupt from within
tortured and beaten
what is my sin

Dying now falling, what do I have
hours turn to many days
an endless plain road down
I have nothing left to say

My angel Sanctuary lies in my
deepest darkest thoughts
My once joy now departed
a part of my lost
