The Strength To Move On

At one time we were happy, or so it seemed
At one time you had really seemed to love me.
Now I've come to realize that there's no use in wishing on stars, because they don't come true.
Because if they did...
Then I wouldn't be crying over you.

If I could turn back time
I'd open your eyes
and make you realize
that you were the only one
that I wanted as mine.
Wishing, wishing, wishing,
What's the point in wishing?
Especially when noone seems to be listening.

So, how do I find the strength to move on?
When I can't manage to keep you off my mind.
I have come to the realization that you're gone,
and that I just need to go on with
my life.
The strength to move on.
