Cupid

Who are you my dear friend cupid?
Why are you so cruel and heartless?
Or are you just a harmless creature,
Who is too blind to even aim correctly.

It seems to me that you love joking around,
Always together with your bow and arrow,
Going around searching for your next prey,
Stringing together the heart of two souls.

You stake an arrow through their chest,
And pull away their heart and soul,
Taking away the gift you're suppose to give,
And destroying their world piece by piece.

Now tell me now my dear friend cupid,
Is this what you call love in the air?
If it so why does they have to suffer,
And go through those hardships instead of hilarity.

Are you a Satan or are you a cherub?
You can be as devilish as you are to some,
Yet in the eyes of the lovers, you are their savior,
But why is it, that I only see you as a villain?

You are the reason that I became like this,
No longer the cheerful girl everyone knows,
But the girl who now shed bloods in her room,
Just because you took her heart and soul away.

...this is my first attempt to write a dark poem...and I'm not very satisfy with it...might get it edited or maybe I'll write a sequel...let's just wait and see...Oh yeah...and the last stanza...it ain't true...I never cut...will never try...those who does...please stop it...
