Suicide Note

by Wings Of Flames   Oct 25, 2005

Hello my world of happy souls,
Dancing round stiffened poles,
Telling me to join their fun,
As they skip, jump and run,

I shake my head,
And cry instead,
They leave me there to keep their fun,
They'd rather not stay and prefer to run,

Then to find my pain,
And wash out the stain,
Of heartache on my chest,
They only want to feel good at best,
I still sit and mourn my loss,
Cause they don't seem to give a toss,
I thought they were my friends,
I suppose everything good has an end,

Even life has a point,
Where it begins to bend at the joint,
You only see grey clouds,
And everyone screaming really loud,

You try to scream over the top,
But they only grow louder and never stop,
You're the one they find in the night,
All bloody and broken you've lost the fight,

They sream again at the sight,
Then the read the note and get a fright,
It was them who never listened,
So now they see all your blood glisten,

They then break down and cry,
Now they know what its like to want to die,
In the end its your choice when you fly,
Or were you like me and chose to cry?

To drown in fear,
At last they are ready to hear,
Your now feint screams,
Nothing as it seems,

But its too late you as stiff as stone,
You died all alone,
Today they walk past a sad face,
They just hope she doesn't want to join you in your special place,

They are no longer happy souls,
They are now darkened souls,
Chained to be,
slaves of sadness never free. . .
