Murderous crimes

by FlowerThatDied   Oct 25, 2005

In the darkness theres something more,
Something warm and oh so pure,
Shaking, scared just like me,
Against a wall of self pity

Will the creature show his face?
Thats damaged in every trace,
Bleeding cuts that never heal,
And the bruises he conceals,

But somewhere, sometime,
Was a, murderous crime,
It tortured his, pure soul,
And turned his, eyes cold

In the darkness of my room,
Theres a memory that hides the gloom,
I see shadows through the night,
That intensifys my fright,

When will it stop? Every night haunts,
And every shadow does taunt,
Tears away my only smile,
Its fake but lasts while.

But somewhere, sometime,
Was a, murderous crime,
It tortured his, pure soul,
And turned his, eyes cold

I see him one more time,
As he commits his one last crime,
Takes a knife to his arm,
Strikes so deep but it doesn't calm,

He screams with one last breath,
And gasps from his heaving chest,
I see him die through my eyes,
So no one can I rely

It happened somewhere, sometime,
It killed me, this murderous crime,
It tortured his, pure soul,
And turned his, eyes cold
Somewhere, sometime,
Happened, murderous crime,
Tortured, pure soul,
Turned his eyes... cold.
