Missing You

I miss you each and everyday.
Waking up, seeing you and saying hey.
Giving you a hug and kissing you on your cheek,
but now its to late, your under the peak.

I remember watching you sleeping,
always wondering what your dreaming,
made me happy to hear you snoring,
since you never thought I was boring.

Running outside with you around the block,
chasing the birds that flew by in a flock.
Rolling down the hill into the grass,
laughing at all the times you past gas.

I miss eating dinner with you on the porch,
watching the fire in a massive torch.
Sneezing when you used to lick the ice cream off my nose,
laughing every time it fell in your toes.

I miss playing catch with you with the tennis ball
but I get sad knowing that I wont see you next fall.
Crying since we will never see face to face again,
looking back to where it all began.

Remembering saying goodbye on the last day I saw you,
still makes me cry and its the sad truth.
Last time I saw you you were locked up tight
at the time I saw you it was midnight.

When I saw you it was to late,
you were already face first in your dinner plate.
Scared because you weren't making a sound,
made me collapse and fall to the ground.

I miss you to this very day,
since I know I wont see you and say hey.
Sometimes in the morning I think I see you in the fog,
I miss you my little puppy dog......
