Lies

by ripped;and;torn   Oct 26, 2005

I am as beautiful as a butterfly.
I am as ugly as a spider.
It is all confusion to me.
It's hard to know what's the truth.
I am rail thin, yet when I look in that mirror,
I see something else, something large and obese.
It's an image I've somehow planted in my head.
An image that's telling me lies.
