Marionettes

by Sasha   Oct 26, 2005

You fell asleep,
without a lullaby or a story
rest in peace,
free of heartache and worry.
You'll never have another nightmare
about suffering and anguish
It's over now, it passed you by
all the misery and languish

From now on the sun's rays
won't burn your gentle skin
the emblem's have faded
From the percussions of the wind
You'll never have to wake
with feelings of distress
Or torn between the thought
to leave or stay inside this mess

You departed and you left
all the marionettes behind you
You disregarded their assumptions
And you managed to break through
here our hearts were blackened
and unfamiliar with devotion,
you Just couldn't stay
in a world of such demotion.

So,you took your heart and left
to a place where angels sing you their song
I'd like to think we will meet again,
who knows? I could be wrong.
