Never Again Mended...

After all the things we did

And all the promises made

We both lost control and made a sudden mistake.

I thought you were my girl

But I guess I was wrong.

A friend wouldn’t do that to their friends

Friends don’t stab each other in the back.

Now the blame isn’t going to be put all on you

because I made a bad choice too.

But the choice I make today

In my heart it should stay

And that’s the choice to never talk to you.

I don’t care how much it hurts.

I don’t care how much I cry.

I can’t take it anymore, this is my goodbye.

In my thoughts you’ll always be.

But goodbye to all the good times

That belonged to you and me.

I’m not going to talk smack about you

Or erase you off my mind,

because once upon a time you were my friend, well goodbye.

I’m not going to wish you the worst

I will only wish you the best

But our friendship is done.

R.I.P, now it may rest.

May life give you many chances,

chances that I couldn’t give you.

I know we gave each other a lot,

But now I can’t forgive you.

I had plans for you and me,

Plans to be friends for life,

But I guess life is full of surprises.

We had the ill times that quickly started but now ended.
