Bruised on the inside
Emotionally hurt by you
Buried on the outside
Physically broken by you

These wounds on my soul won't fade away
The truth still remains
Years of regret have passed
And I can still feel it all

I saw you laugh at me when I fell
You thought I would choose to ignore the lies
But with every lie I saw it all
Of what you became
And I couldn't bear it anymore

So here I lie
Trying to forget the past
