Ignorance is Bliss

by Beatriz Zamora   Oct 26, 2005

Sitting in your comfy chair,
Warm and cozy, not a care,
Combing slick your beautiful hair,
Disguised monster in disguised lair.

Never watch the news on TV,
Always want to be carefree,
Agenda full, friends and tea.

People all over the world starving,
Not for you, you keep on walking,
On the phone you keep on talking.

Many a child without a parent,
No time, you have to do an errand,
I ignorance is bliss, but sometimes
it hurts more than caring.
