Unwanted battle

by FlowerThatDied   Oct 27, 2005

Unwilling war at my feet,
The battle of horror which will not retreat,
It is my fault their laying there,
Screaming, dying in despair,
As their saviour I should've held them near,
Instead I led them silently to here,
Swift swords, flying fast,
My loving, peaceful domain is past,
No more laughter, no more games,
Instead they all lie in pain,
As carefully I watch it all melt away,
All thats left is blood thanks to the events of today,
So as the people cry and run to my feet,
I cannot help them so the angels they must meet,
Where they still hold the memories but where theres no more pain,
When they remember loved ones dying and then their fate was the same.

Aww, thats sad, but in your life there is only some much room, and only somemany times u can hold out your hand. Dont feel down, because ppl are hurt and u cant help them, feel happy because of the ones u can.Great poem, very inspiring.
