Broken Forever *to kate*

My bestest ever friend,
The one who would be there till the end.
Yet in this broken fairytale,
We only seemed to fail.
The tears are rolling down my face,
I long so much for her embrace.
But she's so far away,
And has led me so astray.
I'm sorry that I'm me,
I don't think that she can see.
She tells me what she hates,
Now these smiles i just can't fake.
Open your eyes and look around,
You're not the only one that needs to be found.
I tried to help you,
But i was never enough.
So now I've given up,
Because I've just run out of luck.
You want nothing to do with me,
So at least just let me be.
Being apart from you hurts enough,
Don't rub it in, to show you're tough.
So just leave me now,
And don't pretend to frown.
You've made it quite clear,
That you no longer hold me dear.

Together forever,
We will never be.
