"One more day," He whispered, "One more day."
But I said "No, you cannot stay,
Your tearing me slowly apart,
Too soon I'll be left without a heart."

"One more day!" He cried, "One more day, I want you, love you, need you to stay."
"Oh baby," I replied, "I know your love is there, But can't you see there's love without respect or care?"

"One more day!" He begged on the floor.
"One more day, I'll hurt you no more!"
I answered "I no longer trust what you say, I'm so sorry our love has wasted away. So yes, I love you, need you too, but can no longer bear being with you!"
