One Girl can Change a Life

Sometimes i wish,
that life could just be perfect.
so in the end,
every thing i do would be worth it.
life gives me so many obstacles,
that i have to over come.
and when i think back,
to all the bad things I've done.
i don't have any regrets.
i did everything i did,
for a reason.
I've been through a lot,
as these years have passed.
so many tears, smiles,and laughs,
and yet i still love living life.
I don't need boys,
to help me along the way.
because I've got my girl,
by my side each and every day.
it may not be a lot to everyone else,
but around this girl i can be myself.
i can trip over thin air,
wake up with messed up hair.
i can have food in my teeth,
go out with a total creep.
i can wear baggy clothes,
and skanky ones too.
but she excepts what i chose,
and everything i do.
she's the shoulder i cry on,
the one i call at dawn.
the girl i tell my secrets to,
she's the one who always gets me through.
And i want her to know,
what she truly means to me.
