Contradictions

Try to explain what you mean,
When it doesn't even make sense to you,
Do people misunderstand or,
Do you misrepresent your self,
Emotions betraying your thoughts,
Relaying not what you meant to say but,
Saying what you meant.

Is it the fear of humiliation or,
The humiliation of fear,
Being afraid is what you fear most,
Don't want to chose,
Afraid to lose,
What you already don't have.

Tomorrow's the first day of the rest of your life or,
Live every day like it's your last,
Life is a contradiction,
You focus not on your present,
As it threatens to fall to your past,
Never knowing what's in store,
For your future.
