Best friends forever, yeah, right.

We did everything together,
and talked every single day
"We'll be best friends forever"
thats what we used to say.

But as we got older,
we didn't talk as much,
we had different friends,
we hung out with a different bunch.

She got into drugs,
and i stuck with my sports,
she was a bad infulence,
and i was nothing of the sort.

It\'s really sad to think,
that we used to be so close,
"we'll be best friends forever\"
didn't turn out as we had hoped.
