I've made some mistakes,
Some mistakes I regret,
I've learned from these mistakes that I have made,
Their as bad as things can get,
My life was based on one thing,
I relied on all men,
I never had a dad figure since January of 2004,
It's been almost 2 years without him,
I've made some bad choices,
But I tell myself this is not pretend,
"You need to straighten up for your father'',
He's looking down on you now,
Forget the rest of the crowd,
You need to make your daddy proud,
Sitting here thinking about him,
Makes me want to cry,
It makes me want to shrivvle up and die,
I see your face when I look in the mirror,
My life is getting more and more clearer,
It takes a lot to make me drop a tear,
Just remember dad... I can't stop thinking about you,
You will always be in my mind, soul, and heart,
Not only mine but mom's, and the rest of the family's too.
