Did you see the young man driving around in a school bus?
You see him when he waves his hand behind the clear glass
He loves kids so much but sadly his wife cannot give birth
He envies parents who have kids to share this lovely earth
Did you see the old man carrying a newspaper every day?
He puffs his cigarette as he turns each page with dismay
He is looking for his missing son three years with no luck
Wishing he can find him in the newspaper and get him back
Did you see the lady who had a broken heel on her shoe?
She is in panic because she forgot her bag and passport too
She is late for her flight and it is the last flight flying today
She won't be able to make it to her sister's wedding day
Did you see the boy lying in the pavement in the street?
His eyes may be closed but he is not far from being asleep
He has no home to shelter in, as the strong rain pours down
Even though life is hard for him he smiles and not frown
Did you see the lady sitting beside you in the train?
She had a coat so big but her body still wet by the rain
She cannnot wait to reach home not because she is cold
She just missed her kids so much after a long day hold
Did you see the trees they're shredding leaves everywhere?
They are like thousands of faces you see here and there
People may be wearing a happy face but you know too
They have their own share of sorrow and pain just like you do
