Sadness slowly kills us all

Hatred cutting deep within
pain breaking through my skin
broken hearts begin to fall
sadness slowly kills us all.

masks hide my true feelings
blocking out these hurtful stares
from everyone that doesn't care
agony fills my life, it tears
open my soul, using a knife.

i feel like i am broken
beaten black and blue
destroyed by all your lies
confused because of you.

see these scars along my arm
none of these will heal
each of these i did so i
could see if I'm still real.

you stood there and watched me suffer
and didn't care enough to help me out
watching as i Suffocate, losing air
and bottling up hate.

covered with lies
drenched with deceit
scared of a monster
i will never defeat.
