The Longest Kiss Good-Bye...

by Anthony   Oct 28, 2005

A tear that shed from your angelic eye,
Not the first, not the last.
In my arms, your sobs are muffled,
By the way you bury your face to my chest.
"It will be OK" could never be enough
Just to break apart the hurt you feel.
We will never meet again,
And it's killing me inside.
Just as I bury the feelings,
That you have no need to hide.
Words will never help,
They only prolong the pain.
As i lift up your chin,
You look into my eyes.
The pain I feel reflected,
Only through my eyes.
Our lips brush together,
We know that this good-bye.
Interlocking lips reveal interlocking feelings,
As time goes by, so does our last embrace.
Your smiling face, twisted into pain,
As you are ripped from my life...

I'm imaginging the whole scene and it's damn sweet!

There's no real formation in this poem, but it doesn't take away from it's beauty.
