The silk tear box

by Shædow Poet   Oct 29, 2005

I capture your brethren,
Their sadistic discharge
As well as your own fusion,
Glorified glimmering
Upon silk, woven daintily
To absorb fluids and strength,
Of mysterious emotions,
Yet I sit as a cubic figure:

Science may group me into elements;
My neutrons, electrons and configurations
Mathematics may explain my formula
And English can define me;
Yet your mind will create understanding,
Truth of my existence, to help,
Contain the sorrows of life
So, for a brief moment in time
I bear all the worries-
You're left with veiled bliss.

Come towards me, my dear
Lay your dulling eyes over my face
Blink if you must, to help emancipate
Until one drop of beauty
Rests upon my silk lining.

    Whoa, this is beyond words! I'm assuming this is the piece you talked about in the club forum. It's breathtaking.
    I really find the way you included English and Science very creative. I've never read anything like this. Oh and the ending, very masterful! Lovely from beginning to end. Take care and keep your head up~Holly
