A Messy Shame

by xEmmax   Oct 29, 2005

There's no more laughter for you to hear
Every smile replaced by a tear
Messy scars to cover the skin
Through death the mind is wandering

Secrets too difficult to cast aside
Too many scars to try and hide
Full of shame now people know
This pain I never wanted to show

Hysterically crying, dangerous harm
Thick drops of blood run across my arm
They know the truth, it hurts me to bear
I don't want the questions, just don't let them stare

How can they tell me they understand?
Whilst they boast pure skin upon their hands
Can't bear to deal with this truth again
I'm taking my life, and ending this shame.

I don't know what to say any more, but the word prolific springs to mind, I don't know how you do it without repeating yourself!
