Time To Take Flight

by HighPerfection   Oct 29, 2005

You left me crying on a street corner
I was feeling like sh*t
You didn't care
I was alone scared

I am six feet from the edge
Ready to fall
Arms spread wide
Eyes shut ready to fly away

I Slowly took out my knife
I sliced my wrist
Watching the blood pour out for the last time was a relief
From a world of being alone and afraid

I saw the light rushing fast
As life slipped out of my hands
I scream but ever so softly
You hear and come running

Your to late
My veins are dried
My lips a permanent hue of blue
My hands to cold to hold

So i simply say goodbye
Say Goodbye to your sweet angel
She is gone, gone for good
I'm sorry for all this but
Your to late I've already taken
My last flight

Hey, first of all i love your poem, but you shouldnt take the jump no matter how bad things seem, or well are, theres something worth it in the end, you may not see it now but there is, i know i dont know you or your situation, but no matter what you shouldnt that to yourself or the people you love and love you back
