she falls in love
though fights at home get worse

he eyes cold and hollow
life moves in slow motion
hear heart begins to mend
slowly one stitch at a time
now she has no feeling
no memory of the past
crimson flows from her skin
she feels no pain
she looks in the mirror
and hates what she sees
her eyes show heartache
yet she is numb
she smashes the mirror
the last image she sees
is her reflection
laughing
