Looking deep down,
Into never ending eyes,
Dark chocolate brown,
They cant disguise,

The people I see,
The hurt, the pain,
Death in the family,
Over and Over again,

Holding her child,
Emotionally Crying,
She has to watch,
Her little girl dying,

Alone on the pavement,
Sleeping on the street,
Lives in danger,
They have nothing to eat,

There ain't no money,
There ain't no use,
There's nothing in the world,
Anyone can do,

You can give money,
You can give food,
You can give medicine,
It'll all get used,

But whats the point?
It goes on and on,
A fight against poverty,
That'll never be won,

Make poverty history,
That's there aim,
To tell the truth,
Its all a game,

You stop poverty there,
It starts again here,
They really don't have,
Any idea,

Intentions are good,
But the scale is huge,
You gotta believe,
Your going to lose.
