UnWanted

I'm pushed aside
forgotten and left behind
unwanted, not needed
continually my wounded heart is bleeding

They say they love me
but I'm constantly denying
that they even care
and this unaccepted feeling
I can no longer bare

My eyes are already full of tears
as my day nears
this unwanted deception
this wish of perfection
seeps deeper into my head

unwanted, unloved
like a lonely black dove
abandoned my darkness undesired
my unknown torment
being hidden from the rest

The combination of
this insane anguish
and the unending feeling of concealed agony
is making my tears burst forth

as my patience for life
slowly drains from my understanding
the only thing that i know
is my time alive is ending
and the knife of death is now descending
