Forever and a Day

by Dwain   Dec 9, 2003

He looked to the sky
with his hopes and dreams
Sky neverending
as a bird always sings
Sky as time, Time being sky
Always looking, by and by

Although it isn't fair
A twisted plot remains
He's left standing there
Friends forever changed
Time as pain, Pain through Time
Soon He'll show that he is fine

The thunderheads roll
Grey skies begin to clear
The plot takes its toll
A rainbow has appeared
Pain as Healing, Healing the Pain
As do clouds, happiness came

A new cloud rolls in
Out with the rain
Emotions from within
Will never be the same
Healing as Smiling, Smiling when Healed
He wishes the cloud felt what he feels
