A precious secret inside of me,
That is what this is about,
An internal flame once kindled,
Does not easily go out,

Behind all my shyness,
Hands in my pockets backing away,
A blaze ignites inside of me,
A love for you is here to stay,

Don't take this the wrong way,
Advances by me will not be made,
I need to get this off my chest,
My feelings for you will not fade,

I've tried, Lord I've tried,
To move on and let you be,
But when you're sad, I ache inside,
To not care, that is not me,

I apologize for telling you this way,
I did not intend to be like this,
But when we leave to the rest of our lives,
you are the only one I will miss,

This is not a question at all,
I just wanted you to see,
That when you are with other guys,
I'm praying the next one will be me,

Others do not love you,
As infinitely as I do,
They would not die or sell their souls,
That is what I would do for you,

This is the end of my confession,
I hope that you realize,

Okay ladies and some guys I have a problem, I am a really shy guy and their is this one friend of mine that I have loved for a long time. I want to know if I should give her this poem or what.
