Every bit

by LKA   Oct 30, 2005

The cuts on her wrists,
Extend deep beyond,
To inside her soul,
Shattering her spirit.

I know you never meant to hurt her,
But all the same you did.
You hurt her,
And watched her cry like a kid.

How could you be so heartless,
To watch her when she was in need,
You told her that you hated her,
And hate you did indeed.

She couldnt make it through,
Not enough strength,
To satisfy you,
She went to heartbreaking lengths.

She didnt want to fail you,
Wanted your wish to come true,
She sat in her bathroom,
In her arm, she carved the word "YOU"

Now as i sit outside,
Crying in the rain,
Hoping it comes back to you,
That you feel every bit of her pain.
