In the world, there's nobody the same
We all look different and we all have different names
We have our friends and our family
Then we have some of our friends that are our family
Wherever you go there are different groups
Each containing different kinds of troops
Some cliques like others
And some cliques don't even bother
We find friends that fit our needs
In the garden of life, they are the seeds
With them we can laugh and cry
And by their side we want to love and die
Our friends are with us forever
The things they say we think so clever
They help us through times of down
And they place a smile on a frown
Outside our friends we know only pain
The unknowing is cold like freezing rain
We feel scared and helpless
Only known friends can help and be selfless
But outside our world is another
The same book with a different cover
We do not realize what the lives of others
They have their friends and their lovers
There is a world larger than ours
Unreachable by even cars
We fail to recognize
That other people have lives
They laugh, cry, and love like us
And get cold in a cool, windy gust
These people could be our friends
They could be there for you till the end
You may feel lonely
You may feel homely
But there are many that feel the same
We are all in this game
Remember that there will always be someone
Who will love more brightly than the sun
So never feel down
Cuz in the garden of life, we all sprout from the same ground
