My Perfect Life Part 2

As time goes on,
We stay strong.
Nothing can break us apart,
We were meant to be, right from the start.
But darling, I need to go for just a week,
I will still see you in my dreams when I sleep.
Dont you worry, it will be fine,
We are in love, you have seen the signs.
Seven days is a lot without you I know,
We can see it through though.

A week passes by, not a single word said,
I come back home and see you lying in bed.
I see a letter by your side,
You are laid out as if you had died.
I laugh to myself, I can see you at last.
I read through the note, and my heart starts to break,
Right at that point life seems so fake.
I read it right through and then you awake,
And you glance across and I begin to shake.
How could you say we will not work?
That cant be, please think about it,
I stare, I cant breathe, I am having a fit.
I cant handle losing you, please say its a joke.
I try to call out but all I can do is choke.
Minutes later I am alone,
We are talking on the phone.
Then you hang up,
We are at an end.
I go to my room and I let out a tear,
I never thought this would come true, my greatest fear.
I walk to the kitchen and open a drawer,
And then walk back to my room and lock the door.
I scrape the blade along my skin and out comes my pain,
The redness comes out, all over the floor from my veins.
I scream out, not in physical pain just mental,
And then I end it all, one more cut is enough,
I am just another victim to love.
