Dying Inside

by Truest Lies   Oct 30, 2005

Shes dying inside,
Shriveling up,
Shes hiding inside,
Youll never find her.
Shes almost broken,
Her silken lines,
One more cut,
And shes gone.

She trusted them all,
And they left her,
She loved them all,
But they left her,
She tried to tie a knot,
To hold her down to earth,
But the blade was slippery with blood...

It slipped out of her hand,
And cut her ties away,
Shes almost gone,
Shes going far away.

She wrote a thousand notes,
All saying the same,
She wrote a thousand notes,
They all sounded insane.
But she couldn\'t take it,
It was too much,
But she couldn\'t take it,
All this stuff...

Maybe she fell,
Maybe she cut,
But they never found her,
Although they tried.
Maybe she ran away,
Like she always wanted to,
And maybe she cut,
But she shut herself in,
And she shut herself away.

She wrote a thousand notes,
In ink made of blood,
Some said shedcut,
Some said shed jumped,
Some said she took too many pills,
Some said she fled,
Towards the hills.

All in all,
Shes not here,
She cant feel the pain,
She cant feel the fear,
No more agony,
For this girl

Shes dying inside,
Shes shriveling up,
Shes hiding inside,
Youll never find her.

This can be a lyrics for a rock song! That's what I feel while reading this. The repetition kind of brings the emotions out in a stronger way, more vivid, more solid. This is easy to read, easy to get the picture of it. And I like it a lot. :)
