I look into the mirror
But see no reflection
Something that had happened that night
Changed my life and the way I feel

There was a guy
Just some guy
But how did I know that he would steel my soul?

I look long and hard
But there is nothing there
Somethings gone
I don't know what

I sit alone I a corner
As far from you as I can get
My life drifts bye
But I stay the same

I'm still looking in the mirror
To see something
A recognition of my old life
How I used to live before
Before I met you

I've come to the end of the line
I always knew I'd die young
But I never knew why
Now I know what you've done
It's all I can do to write a note

A note to explain what I've done
A note to explain why I've done it
A note to explain how much I love you
A note to explain that it was too late
