The Voice Inside My Head

There's a voice inside my head
Telling me whats right
Theres a voice inside my head
Here is what it said

" Just tell them
You guys were so close
You should have seen your face
White as a ghost

You should have seen their face
Avoiding your eyes
You should have seen all of your eyes
Filled with so much lies

Not only lies
But so much pain
Emotionally hurting through every vein

You should have seen your eyes
When you were looking at pictures of what was now the present
Thinking if they said what they meant

Then you moved on to memories of the past
Realizing how things went so fast

You tried calling their cousin
To try to understand
That this time you will not win

Even though They have the picture of you and your best friend "
Here was my response...
" All this is driving me around the bend

Why do they have that picture?
What have they done with it?
They hate me and my best friend
How come in the past I had treated them like sh-t?

How come only now they cared who talked to their cousin?
Why did I create such a bad little sin? "

The voice inside my head
Soon fixed up the confusion
The voice told it all
And I listened as though it was just one big allusion

" You will soon find all the answers to your doubt
But till then here are the words I have to offer
For once, your not what its all about

The way you treated your friend,
Was the way you were treated and how you were feeling
And soon enough the friendship started peeling

Calm down child this is not the end
Cause if you chose you ways wisely
You will soon again be a true friend "
