The Sun in My Life

My days were dark
Cold, and lonely
I often wondered
Just what it was
That I was missing
Then you walked into my life
And every since
The sun has been shining
And when I see a cloud
Instead of getting nervous
Scared and worried
I look at it like this:
Someday, the sun will shine again
You lifted the cloud from my face
The rain from my eyes
And the thunder from my heart
You left me with a happy outlook
And a new beginning
Now when it rains
I still smile
Knowing soon after
