Leafs poor down in the cool air
The water is calm but my heart
Is racing
The birds fly by to a Better place
Boats sail by in a steady pace
My skin shivers
While people stay warm
The lake stays motionless while
The wind moves on
I walk and stay cold
People run to stay warm
The cold lake lives with more inside
Witch reminds me as time goes on
The lake shall forever be calm.
