Halfway across the world

by amy nguyen   Dec 10, 2003

You know I love you and I’m your girl
I can’t hold you near
But I wish you were right there
Although it’s along distance
At any instance
I would jump up to be at your side
To be with you is my wish before I die
And if we never meet
You’ll be in my dreams while I sleep
Age is just a number
To me you’re still my lover
When we speak we never stutter
Our words to each other are clearer than water
My feelings are true to you, no matter what
Because I know my heart is yours
And yours is mine
You are my future, my guide
You have taught me so much about life
And I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you ask me to be your wife
