Jacaranda and Flame Trees

by LJ loves Rob   Oct 31, 2005

Its that time of year again
I find myself in my bed crying
Crying for you to be here

The purple of the jacaranda
The colour of your room
You loved that colour but it makes me cry

The red of the flame trees
Reminds me of your smile
No matter how sad you were, you still smiled

The day you died I thought to myself
There my life, I died with you in that bed
But you are always by my side

I miss you more at this time of the year
The jacaranda and flame trees were like us
Extremely fiery yet mostly subdued

I love you and will always miss you

It's hard when someone dies.. I know..
